Thank you for Supporting the 3rd Annual Read To Succeed BBQ Feed!
The Literacy Council celebrated its third annual Read to Succeed BBQ Feed on Saturday, June 8th at Lake Wheeler Park. Attendees came out to enjoy the fun (in spite of the uncertain weather) and dined on BBQ and listened to live bluegrass music from the Kudzu Ramblers. People bid on a range of items (everything from restaurant gift cards to one of a kind jewelry and pottery) at the silent auction. Thank you to everyone who came and we look forward to seeing you next year!
Thank you to Applied Biopharmaceutics, Capitol Broadcasting Company, Blackman & Sloop CPAs, North State Bank, Pittard Perry & Crone, Inc., Steward Ingram & Cooper CPAs, The Benefit Planning Group, and Wells Fargo for sponsoring this event.
